The RS is a cutting-edge sensor evaluation system that leverages LiDAR as its primary sensor, supported by high-definition cameras and RTK inertial navigation. It enables high-precision ground truth data collection for traffic participants, parking spaces, and other vehicle surroundings while assessing sensor performance in ADAS applications such as Blind Spot Detection (BSD) and Automated Parking Assistance (APA). We offer this system as a rental option along with comprehensive services, including installation, calibration, sensor fusion, data acquisition, and post-processing, ensuring seamless integration and accurate results for our customers.

Installation and Calibration Service

• We install RS Reference on the vehicle based on customer configuration.

• Sensors are securely mounted, and cables are routed inside the vehicle.

• Power options are configured based on customer requirements.

• Calibration is done to align LiDAR and RTK.

• Field data collection ensures precise sensor measurements.

• Complete installation normally takes 1 day.

Data Acquisition & Processing Service

• Data is collected in an on-board computer.

• Time synchronization is distributed to the customer DUT recording device as per requirements.

• Testing requires a driver/operator and suitable weather conditions.

• Data is stored and transferred to an offline processing server.

• Processing server can be placed at the customer site if needed.

• Post-processing takes approximately 2-3 times the recording duration.

Sensor Fusion Service

• LiDAR-Camera Fusion improves system capabilities.

• Calibration supports object detection, parking spot detection, and traffic sign recognition.

• The calibration process requires two engineers and a calibration board.

• Calibration is performed in a space of 15×8 meters.

• Camera parameters are fine-tuned using calibration software.

• The complete setup and calibration process typically takes 2-3 working days.
