UTAC launches the Road Driving Consortium
UTAC has announced the launch of the Road Driving Consortium, a 3-year initiative aiming to advance the assessment of ADAS and automated driving systems under real-world driving conditions through structured test scenarios and evaluation methodologies.
Road testing has become mandatory for the certification of Automated Lane-Keeping Systems (ALKS) and Driver Control Assistance Systems (DCAS), while Euro NCAP is placing increasing emphasis on evaluating ADAS and Automated Driving systems under real-world public-road conditions
With the new project Road Driving, UTAC launches a 3 years collaborative dedicated to:
✔️ structuring road-driving tests
✔️ defining reliable measurement systems and KPIs
✔️ linking real-world driving data with simulation approaches
Our goal is to assess vehicle behaviour effectively and in line with regulations, under real driving and weather conditions.
MOBIAS in the Road Driving Consortium
MOBIAS is pleased to be part of this consortium and looks forward to contributing its expertise to the collaboration.
